DeleteCongratulations. I often wonder how people get a name to a quote. Is it always a famous person, or author? Perhaps anybody is worthy of having their name to a quote, rather than being 'unknown' just because they are not famous.
ReplyDeleteI am the same you know. I think we all only tell/show to others, what we want them to know. The rest is saved for our close family or friends or spouse.
I have always thought that even people who write an autobiography, still keep stuff back and still only write about what they want others to know.

ReplyDeleteI don't mean to be rude but the origins of the root of this quote actually stems from Niccolò Machiavelli. He said Everyone sees who you appear to be, but few experience who you really are." Granted you added to it but give credit where credit is due.
